YSU ACE Scholarship

YSU Association of Classified Employees scholarship was established in 2003 as an endowed scholarship invested through the YSU Foundation to provide financial assistance to YSU student employees who work with ACE members. Students must have completed 30 semester hours, maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and have a financial need. In addition to the application, the student must submit an essay on the value of their student employment and a recommendation letter from an ACE union member.

This year, the Scholarship committee chose two winners:

  • Clair Reed, an Exercise Science major nominated by ACE member Shannon Pope in the Resch Academic Success Center.
  • Morganne Lewis, a graduate student in the Criminal Justice program who was nominated by Kim Jenkins in the Police Academy.

Donation to the scholarship can be sent to the ACE Scholarship Fund at the Associated School Employees Credit Union.
